My name is Ed Crandall and I am and attorney and live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina USA with my wife Sonia and two cats. I was born in December 1943 and I have always liked astronomy. In 1958 my father and I got a 254 mm f/7 Cave reflector which was primarily used to observe deep sky objects and occasionally the moon and planets. I sold this scope when I went to college and 40 years later found the scope in a garage and restored it five years ago. All of my lunar images have been taken with this scope. I recently acquired a Williams Optics 110 mm f/6.5 APO triplet which I hope to image with and take to dark sky sites for deep sky observing.

I image with a Starlight Xpress HX 516 CCD camera and a ToUcam 740 Pro. I hope to get a digital camera such as a Canon 10D /20D or Nikon 70D. I am a member of ALPO and the BAA and I participate in various astronomy e-groups. I joined the GLR group because of my interest in the moon and activity of the members
