I’m living in Macerata, form I often do my planetary shoots.
Since I was 15 I follow every aspects of the amateur astronomy, with a particular interest to the instrument techniques and the auto construction. I’m associate form 1994 to the “Crab Nebula” society of Tolentino. I attended some technical conferences both for my society then for a lot of annual “star party” , like the one of Ostellato (FE), where in 2003 I won the first prize about the competition on high resolution shoots.
Recently, i attended a conference on the techniques of digital photographs at Udine for the societyy “AFAM”. My job is designer in a firm specialized in technical illumination.
I own some instrument, the main one is a 250mm Newton with main mirror Giacometti and the secondary mirror a vetroceramic Marcon, obstruction of 21%, mounting auto constructed; other instruments are a rifractor APO 67/600, a Russian achromatic refractor70/450 and another ultra compact achromatic refractor 80/300.
After a lot of practice with the classic photography (yashica FX3) now I’m using a digital camera since 2001. I acquire images with a webcam Philips “Vesta pro” and recently I have also a digital reflex Canon EOS 300D
