I've been in astronomy since about 1958. I've done a LOT of meteor work and a LOT of lunar work. I was part of the ALPO LTP program when Winifred Cameron was running it and observed and made albedo measurements for several years. That got me interested in lunar photoelectric photometry, which put me in contact with John Westfall. He encouraged me to re-write his "Lunar Photoelectric Photometry Handbook", which I did, and I also created the data reduction software for it. It isn't published yet. I was involved in observing domes for several years also, starting back when Jim Phillips headed up the project for ALPO. I still have his original instructions for the section and they're still relavent.

I started out with a 1" refractor from Edmund Scientific, went on to, and still have, a Unitron 2.4" refractor, went to a Meade 2120 10" SCT, which I also still use, and recently bought a 5" Meade refractor, and I'm hoping for clear weather to start using it.

I'm married with no children, since I was exposed to a LOT of stuff in Vietnam, have an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, and I worked in the Information Technology field for over 25 years as a Systems Engineer. Attached is an old photo of me with the 10", since I don't have any recent ones yet. I'm working on it.
