I'm fond of the Sky from the age of 10. I have acquired the first decent instrument at 20 years: a simple binoculars 10x50 that it has increased in me the will to discover the firmament. I have tried a lot of instruments, from the acromatics, the Newtonians , apocromatics and Schmidt-Cassegrain both in visual that in photography, I stopped to a 102 Vixen acromatic; a 203 Celestron 8 and a dobson of 300mm, an old CCD Starlight-Xpress, webcam and several telephoto lenses.
From the ' 98 Elisabetta accompanies me with her patience and passion then she dedicates to the search of strange objects in mine observations:
little stars, asteroids, lunar rimes and domes with its dobson 10". My working hours allow times to observe the sky for the entire night from the comfort of the garden of my house situated in the full Po Plain ,with all the fogs consequences but also with atmospheric stability.
The light pollution has penalized some objects but in the limit of the sky and the instrumentation we resume all; from the Moon to the remote planets, comets, supernovae, nebulas and galaxies.
One of the challenges that attract to us is the observation to the extreme limit of double stars with a personal record of 0.177" with the Celestron 8.
Our dream is that one to discover something sooner or later.
